Abstract

The ongoing technological revolution, centered on information technologies, based on microelectronics, has been remodeling the material base of society and conditioning important changes in labor relations. Technological advances contribute to the increase in insecurity through the intermediation of cheap labor, through cell phone applications. The objective of this work is to analyze new technologies and their impacts on the instability of labor relations. As a research methodology, the exploratory qualitative approach was adopted based on the description of the characteristics of a given phenomenon from a bibliographic and documentary review. It is concluded that the advancement of new technologies and the instability of labor relations will hardly be mitigated, since it represents economic and technological progress, placing society in the uncomfortable position of constantly enjoying the benefits of a privileged position in view of the precariousness of work relationships. It is necessary to reconstruct the bases that foster the emergence of these relationships, but more than that, to think about solutions for these workers now, that we will all be subject to be occupying these positions.
