Abstract

The results that we bring in this article are part of a research that sought to analyze data from a workshop with the content taught about child labor, with the design thinking approach, and interpreted through the discursive textual analysis procedures. The objective was to map students’ perceptions of a lato sensu postgraduate course in Labor Law and Social Security on the theme child labor, in order to arrive at prototyped combat solutions. This investigation allowed us to highlight results that permeate by indicating solutions and reflections on the theme, concluding that, despite all the sadness and sentimental burden denoted in the reports, there is little action taken with regard to combat, the proposals repeat themselves and are ineffective as to applicability. From the testimonies, it can be seen that: the community knows minimally the reality of children who are exploited through their work; few have access to statistics on the subject, even though they regard it as an unworthy and inhuman practice.

Keywords: child labor; design thinking; postgraduate degree in law; discursive textual analysis.
